The Housing Authority of Bexar County (HABC), in partnership with KSAT Community, is hosting its annual Back-To-School Supply Drive to distribute 850 backpacks filled with school supplies to local students in need. This year’s goal—nearly double last year’s—celebrates HABC’s 50th anniversary of providing quality housing and supportive services to families in Bexar County. This partnership is especially meaningful during HABC’s golden anniversary, a time to reflect on five decades of service and reaffirm our mission to serve Bexar County families with dignity, respect, and opportunity.

Together with KSAT Community, we’re helping families prepare for a successful school year—because every child deserves a confident start.

This community event aims to ensure children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

Kindly drop off school supply donations at our main office at 1954 E. Houston St., Ste. 105, starting June 16, 2025, through July 31, 2025!
