The mission of The Housing Authority of Bexar County is to create, promote, and sustain diversified and affordable housing opportunities, while encouraging resident stability and economic independence. That goal is achieved through a variety of programs including Public Housing facilities, Housing Choice Vouchers, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program and the HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing Program.
The United Way’s Helpline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. Spanish and Language Line translation is available.
